Payal B. Ghanwani

Payal B. Ghanwani is a dedicated Attorney-at-Law and Partner at Estevan Perera & Company LLP in Belize City, Belize.

Payal Ghanwani holds a Legal Education Certificate of Merit from the Norman Manley Law School in Kingston, Jamaica (2014-2016), and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honors from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados (2011-2014). She was called to the Bar in Belize on October 21, 2016.

Since joining Estevan Perera & Company LLP in September 2017, Payal Ghanwani has focused her practice on Civil Litigation, Intellectual Property, Company Law, Offshore & Commercial Law, Probate, Estate & Succession, Conveyancing & Real Estate, Trust, and Environmental Law. Her earlier experience includes serving as an Attorney-at-Law at Glenn D. Godfrey & Company LLP from July 2016 to August 2017 and completing a legal internship at M.H. Chebat & Co. in 2015.

Payal is also committed to public service, having served as a Senator for the Government of Belize from February to November 2020. Since May 2022, she has been a member of the Integrity Commission of Belize, promoting ethical standards in public life.

In addition to her legal career, Payal Ghanwani is a Notary Public and is actively involved in her community. She is a member of the Bar Association of Belize and the Rotary Club of Belize Sunrise, where she participates in various community service initiatives.

On the 8^th day of August 2023, Payal Ghanwani was appointed by the Government of Belize as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Estonia in the whole territory of Belize.
